2025 SOFTBALL INFORMATION (Teams will compete in the Borderline Softball League):
U7 - Athletes born in 2018, 2019
Equipment Needed- Running shoes (cleats optional), ball glove, batting helmet with cage, black pants (ball pants optional), and hat.
This is an introductory level of softball focusing on developing the players skills. All players will bat, play a field position, and be given the opportunity to try pitching and catching.
Exhibition games will be set up with surrounding communities that have U7 teams.
PLEASE NOTE - There will be no U7 team for the 2025 season
U9 - Athletes born in 2016, 2017
Practice/Game Days: Tuesdays / Thursdays at Lions Park, approximately 4:00-5:30 PM. (Game times may vary.)
Equipment Needed (Cardinals clothing and accessories are available for purchase at King's Department Store) - Running shoes (cleats optional), ball glove, batting helmet with cage, fielding mask (optional), navy pants, cardinals hat, red accessories (belt, socks, etc.)
This is an introductory level of softball with modified rules. U9 is a hybrid of the player pitch where batters will see live pitches and pitchers will begin to learn how to throw a fast pitch. All players bat and will play a field position as well as be given the opportunity to try pitching and catching.
The season runs from May through June.
U11 - Athletes born in 2014, 2015
Please note: There are two teams—Team Lucas and Team Shane. Be sure to check the schedule to confirm the correct times and field for your child’s team.
Practice/Game Days: Mondays / Wednesdays at Lions Park
Equipment Needed (Cardinals clothing and accessories are available for purchase at King's Department Store) - Cleats (recommended) or Running shoes, ball glove, batting helmet with cage, fielding mask (optional), navy pants, cardinals hat, red accessories (belt, socks, etc.)
The season is from May through June. League finals are scheduled to be played at the end of June.
U13 - Athletes born in 2012, 2013

Practice/Game Days - Tuesday / Thursday at Lions Park. Practice days, and times may slightly vary depending on players/coaches and diamond availability.

Practice/Game Days - Sunday / Tuesday at Lions Park
